Hi, I am glad some other people are visiting this site. Unfortunately, there is not much traffic.

I have asked the owner of the Canarsie board to add a link to this board on his site, I hope he will in the future.

Well, glad you stopped by and shared some memories.

Considering how kids today are not really allowed to run around outside unattended, I consider myself lucky to have grown up in a place which was a little world unto itself. You never had to leave the building to have fun. I remember trick or treating in my building on both sides and getting more than enough candy. I remember hanging out in the staircases, involved in various activities...depending on my age!!!
