The world that you come from is safe, clean and you have some sort of routine to it right? Right. Now picture yourself, in a bus, driving along a rough and bumpy dirt road in a foreign country where a war is raging. As of now your life has no routine, and it’s not always clean and safe. After what seems like hours, the bus stops in the middle of a compound, with many tents surrounding the area. As you climb out of the bus you notice that there’s only one road that runs through the camp, a mountain blocked one perimeter and a minefield blocked the other. There is little chance of getting out before your service is up, you could try to declare yourself insane, but rarely does that get you anywhere. Welcome to M*A*S*H (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) 4077th, here the wounded are patched up and sent home, or they are sent back to the front. You were sent here, to Seoul in South Korea as a doctor or a nurse. To help the wounded and sick during the Korean War. Back home, you were hot stuff, one of the top doctors in your home city, or a head of your nursing group. Once again, that all changes. You have to work your way from the bottom back up to the top again. Life here doesn’t have to be all dull and darkness. To help get rid of some of the tensions, there is a small shack just outside of the camp called Rosie’s Bar, quite a few doctors and nurses go there to relax, and occasionally a movie is held for people to watch. So come help people who need help and also to see what it was like to be a doctor or nurse in the Korean War.
