Subject: Upset about pictures in mall

I am writing to say that I am upset and appalled by some of the photo advertisements I'm seeing in the mall lately.

There is a relatively new store in the mall near Borders; I believe it is called "Against All Odds". I walked through the mall this week and to my surprise, I saw a picture of a woman naked from the top up, with hands "covering" herself, as if that is enough to make the picture acceptable.

I have come to expect this type of cruddy advertising from Victoria's Secret (and don't think it's necessary no matter what the store sells), but "Against All Odds" is not even a women's lingerie store... is this type of advertising really necessary? I'm getting sick of walking through the mall and being bombarded with all sorts of stuff that I just don't care to see. If they want to put it inside the store, then that's their choice. But do they have to put larger-than-life, near-naked photos all around the outside of the store? It's very upsetting.

I am 23 years old, and don't even have kids yet. But if I did, I would be even more upset to have to take them through the mall, knowing that they are viewing these types of images. Not only is it inappropriate for young eyes, I feel that some of it is degrading to women.

Please, Salmon Run Mall... show a little responsibility, and have some decency and respect by limiting the racy images that are allowed in full view of your shopping public. Otherwise, I may stay home and shop on the internet.
