my character of person? i guess would be, somewhat bored, a bit awkward, and just trying to bring a little laughter into everyday things, so i dont go crazy, with the sameness of everyday.

movies i have enjoyed this year that i remember right now:
charlotte sometimes
the station agent
pieces of april(much better than i would have ever thought)
lilya 4 ever(really sad though)
swimming pool
lost in translation
american splendor
the cooler
all the real girls
love liza
matchstick men
the man on a train
city of god
winged migration

theres a few more im forgetting, but it was definetely a good year for movies. im looking forward to seeing 'In America' and 'House of Sand and Fog'. the only times i go out, are to see a movie or concert/show, its kinda sad, i guess.

on t.v, i just watch whatever, im not that dedicated to certain programs.

i'll tell you my name another time, i kinda like being just 'swarm' for now.

your dad sounds like a nice man, and thats good that you have people like that in your life to inspire and motivate you.

thats good that you are gonna go back to writing about music. will you be doing features or reviews or both? do you have any links, to anything you have written, i'll check it out.

i also really like music. the following are some artists/bands that i really like:

the notwist, low, spiritualized, grandaddy, red house painters, explosions in the sky, morphine, sparkelhorse, death in vegas, pj harvey, massive attack, blackalicious, tindersticks, leonard cohen, primal scream, and a bunch of others.
music collecting was another addiction for a while, but nowadays i dont buy that much stuff, and i dont download either, i guess i just have enough stuff to last me for a while.

do you play music/any instruements? i dont, i mess around with my guitar, but im terrible at it.

the lurkers love you, xmjr.

so did you get to see either of those shows bob played at recently?
