Kieran nodded and realized that it was an honor to ride up front with the king. His metallic optics kept a hold on Theo's for a brief second then glanced at the hand that rested on his shoulder. Kieran then took notice of the other mounted soldier and the woman who retreated to the back for the moment. There were many things to notice...such as the large tiger and the cub. They concluded the rumors of Theo's felines, although Kieran had never doubted it to begin with. He glanced around- everyone appeared ready for the battle to begin. The hunger for blood rested clearly in many eyes of the warriors and it appeared that anticipation was one thing these men could not handle. Patience was the key...it would not be long before the true battle began.
