Greetings to all who come here. I am Shapeshifter, and I am currently serving the Paladins of Light as their resident freak show. In this role, I often do not get the chance to speak with every visitor or potential new recruit personally, which is probably a good thing, so I have decided to start posting annoying responces to prefabricated messages by our respected Paladin Master, Takoth.

Let me begin by saying that you should be afraid, very afraid. We often frighten those who visit us here with our strange ways, including sacrificing newbies to the internet gods in an attempt to restore our website to function. That was fun, can we do it again Takoth?

For those of you who are friends or allies, and visit often, you're used to me. I truly appreciate the fact that you still put up with my meaningless ramblings.

For those of you who have chosen to join us and are now in the squire process, let me say to you, welcome! I hope that you are soon able to be proclaimed a full member of POL, and enjoy the rights that come with full membership. Amoung these are red pots from Divaqs, the right to join a regiment of people as messed up as you, and the ability to read all of my posts!!! Well, maybe that's not quite a privilage, but still...

For those of you who are considering applying to join POL, let me say to you the following things:

POL is always on the search for loony, lovable players of Blizzard's primary games, SC and Diablo. We invite all who seek to game in a spiffy psychoward to apply to join us. We think you will find POL to be a great home, and one in which you can put on an "I-love-me" jacket freely and often. Having said that, let me also encourage you to be sure to read the rules and policies before applying. That way you know exactly how much you can annoy the others without being kicked out! In order to provide the haven that we all seek, we are forced to uphold and enforce basic rules of conduct both on our forums and inside our secure games. Therefore, please be sure to read those before you send in an application. That way, you don't have to read the rules AFTER you send in your application! You are asked to verify that you have done so on the app, so it might be a good idea to actually do what we're asking you to do, because if you don't we'll trout your sorry butt! MUNCHKINS!!!!

That said, let me also tell you that we are not in the business of trying to stifle fun or comraderie. The fact that I can get away with ridiculing guild policy like this is a great testament to that statement! If you read this forum often, which I am not sure if I would advise or not :), you will see that our members have a great time with each other, and more than a few might be candidates for mental help. I am a few of the more than a few, meaning we all eat cheese nightly with green pasta cats.

Let me close by saying that we are delighted you have chosen to visit, and I hope that you won't make a habit of running away from me. If you are interested in the guild, and want more info, please do not hesitate to e-mail Takoth, because it's his job to answer. Or if you'd rather see exactly how mentally ill we are, just hang out around here for a while!
