Thank you for your interest in our guild! We would love to have you join us. The reason that we require a paid email account is due to the fact that people are a lot less likely to cause any sort of trouble if they are using an account that they have paid for.

People generally are more likely to behave poorly with a free account, because they can always find a new one if their current one is revoked. PoL is a family oriented guild, meaning that we have high standards and family friendly environment. The few rules that we do have exist to protect that environment.

Having said that, do you know anyone personally within PoL that might vouch for you? That might solve your problem.

I hope that this situation will be worked out soon, and you will join us in the near future.
