As many are aware the USEAST server is haveing lots of problems with games dropping. This is because there is a new version of the packet sender program. It causes the server to crash dropping everyone in the game, and is having an impact on other games in the same realm. The reason people are using it, is to get multiple imbues and because they are childesh. If you dont like the imbue you get, crash the system and you can do the quest over. This program also works on gambling. It doesnt work on duplicating because the server kicks everyone at once to prevent that from happening. So there are a couple of points to this post. Until further notice take care in transfering items. If the game drops while your stuff is on the ground it is gone. So if you have real nice stuff get a fellow member to hold the items for you while you switch things around. I lost 2 manald rings tonight because of this, so be careful. The next point is understand that if you find something real nice, like Stone of jorden, leave the game immediately to force it to save your char file on the server. If the server drops you after you pick up the item, it is gone for good. The server acts as if you never found it. And last but not least, DO NOT DOWNLOAD this program. I have not heard yet, but would not be surprised if alot of people goto log on, and their accounts are gone. It has happened before where a trojan virus gets linked to the hacking utility revealing all of your passwords to the hacker,Logon passes, account information,game names and passwords. Personally, I have no sympathy for the people who lose their stuff this way. I am evil I know. But, this did happen to Buddahmonk I believe a while back when his kid downloaded maphack. He lost several accounts due to this. The article is in the arhive i would suppose if you wanted to look it up.
