Well, the things you tell about here really do happen, but the style of your post and your description of the exams lead me to believe that your post is a fantacy.

But your fantacy happens to be true for some clinics at some places around the world, including USA, but the things are usually done in a less sexually looking style and often the preteen/teen gets sedated to relax her and hinder her from remembering.

To the question if this is necessary, I will say that it is as much or as little mecessary as any other well-child or well-teen exam.

I am highly agnostic about the usefilness of most arrangement in society, including those regular annual exams at any age.
