  I wonder if anyone can help. A friend of mine has recently died and I cannot begin to explain how regretful and deep my feelings are about this.
  
  I got to know her from 1994. I lived with her for 8 years. We had great highs and great lows. Most of the time, I felt very close to and protective of her, but often worried about her (sometimes too much). I could not cope with such feelings of closeness, and often had inner conflict due to it. She had a horrendous history of abandonment and betrayal, and this reflected in her over-eating. I used to feel so sorry for her, as it made her very insecure about things. But I did not want to feel sorry for her, as she had so many unfulfilled talents--one of them being the most amazing personality.
  
  She was diagnosed with cancer in 2003. I was a help to begin with: walking her every day to hospital during treatment, keeping her thinking positive thoughts, that sort of thing. But in late 2003, I was getting manic and hyperactive--falling out with everyone, drinking too much, getting paranoid about all sorts of things. I fell out with my friend during these periods also.
  
  I had to leave that city in December 2003 because I got myself into debt. When I returned to my home town, I was still hyperactive for a few months, but I slowly went into a depression (from about feb. 2004). I started realising what an idiot I had been in the latter months of 2003.
  
  I still kept in contact with my friend, but only vaguely. I wanted to ring her up and tell her so much how sorry I was for her in her condition, and what an idiot I had been. But I could not ring. I thought about her all the time, but could not cope with my own feelings of guilt, sadness for her condition and helplessness.
  
  Recently, I found out she passed away, and I was devastated. Deep down, I must have known that this was bound to happen eventually, but I have been in denial about her condition every since I started getting weak and depressed and helpless. I regret so much that I wasn't my 'strong' self that I was in early 2003, and that I wasn't there for her.
  
  Her funeral was a very sad affair for me. It seems it was me who knew her best--but in my weakness I could not be there for her in her latter days, no matter how much I wanted to be. I put a card from me onto her coffin before she got cremated. I explained things in that card that I wish so much I could have explained while she was alive.
  
  Can someone please help me in my grief. I want to know she is in a better place (I used to worry about her so much when she was on earth). I want to know she is happy. I go through so many different feelings inside--terror, guilt, emptiness, grief, regret, sadness. Please God, let her be in a better place.

  Hello,
  I have 2 questions:
  
  1) I have a male friend with whom I have a very strong, profound connection. We have a bit of romantic history but nothing really took off. I think the intensity of the connection and my serious intent scared him. We have had intermittent contact in the last several months, with him contacting me more frequently. He's still in that position on not sure if he can get past his fear of going forward. I know he feels the connection. We have not spoken in a couple of months because we had a blow out. He was very adamant about not being able to commit yet wanting other benefits. I said no.
  I feel that we will speak again at some point. (I didn't close any doors)
  Will we be together as lovers at some point? My guess is that it will be a while yet, that there is karma to be worked out. Neither one of us seems to be able to walk away from this connection. (like a twin soul connection)
  
  2) I have a female friend who seemed to have a strong connection with me. I seemed to not meet her expectations (which she never verbalized, she just hoped that I would get it), so after 3 blow outs in a short period of time, I stopped talking to her.
  Will we have contact again? It seems like there is unresolved issues/karma.

  I have counseled with a psychic for the past few years regarding my love life (or lack thereof). I am 44 years old and have not had a steady relationship since Aug. '99. I was with the wrong guy for a number of years. I have met a few men since that time that I was truly interested in. A couple seemed interested back, but had issues or balked.
  
  I have since joined an online dating web site (which I said I'd never do). I have corresponded with a guy who lives about an hour away from me. I e-mailed a picture of myself to him but haven't heard back from him since. I have to wonder if he was disappointed in my picture. I am not unattractive but am not a Brittney Spears. He is nice looking but isn't Tom Cruise either. I feel like there is a demon who sits upon my shoulder who gets his jollies after every disappointment and brick wall I hit in the love dept. I can't even get a response from someone who said they were interested in me on a dating site even. My biggest fear is looking desperate or pushy. Neither of which is attractive, but I'm sick of men who act interested but are not.
  
  My psychic has been helpful in some ways, but she is not always right on her predictions. I'm ready to meet someone. I want the guy from the dating site to at least get to know me before he rejects me. Being "positive" about things has proven to be a disappointing venture. I really do not know what to do and am tired of people telling me it's "just not my time".

  I am new here and have a few questions about a few things that have been going on for about two years now,
  I am trying to understand what is happening to me, I am a very spiritual person and find myself drawn so much to helping others, I seem to be the one that everyone comes to when they need advice or to talk. I have friends that tell me that I am a breath of fresh air.
  I am a positive person and love the Lord and want to work in the highest ways possible for him. A few years ago I was on a search for what I am to do here, what my purpose was? I started looking for ways to find out, tarot readings, Angel cards and every since this;
  
  I have been experiencing things like:
  
  I can sit and talk to someone and a subject will be brought up and a few minutes later see that on the TV. I can think of something and in minutes see that on the TV. I know things that happen before they happen but not always realize until that second that I knew that, I do not always know for whom the message is for but I see or feel what is to happen, then when it does it’s like “Oh my goodness”
  I have been in a room and seen people’s ora’s, some are clearer than others, but none the less see them shine.
  I have been experiencing feelings of cold and warm breezes across my face, or ear or arms. I get like a tingling sensation around my head and my arms at times, I seem to know when someone is near me that has passed away. Just not always sure who they may be? I can sense my Angels close to me I feel a sense of peace and happiness, a warmness followed with a great fragrant scent.
  What I am asking is if anyone understands what is going on with me? Why just 2 years ago this would start when I was seeking guidance from God on my life’s purpose. At some point I think we all think about what we are meant to do here.
  
  I do not know what to do next, how I should proceed to learn more and what step’s I should take?
  I am so drawn to Reiki I really do not know much about it but feel I must learn more? Do you have any advice for me? What can I do to understand?
