Well, here I am in FL, loving the sunshine, planting my garden, while ya'll are freezing your butts off up there. LOL

So how's it going in good ole SC? I've lived all over the state - Greenville, Columbia, Florence, Charleston, even Dorchester Co. I miss dogwoods and azaleas and redbuds in the spring. I DON'T miss scraping ice off my windshield in teen degrees to get to work!

I miss the excitement of Clemson/Carolina games. I DON'T miss the traffic when the game is played in Columbia!

I miss the state fair, but I DON'T miss freezing my tail off waiting for my kids by the rocket!

I don't have to miss fire ants, we have plenty of those down here. I don't have to miss mosquitoes either! Heck, we breed 'em for size and ship 'em up there to you!

I do miss salt marsh and tidal creeks and crabbing with a line. I miss Myrtle Beach at spring break (even though I'm way too old to participate now!)

Anyway, I'm happy here, but I do miss some things about home. And SC will always be home to me. Born and raised there, will always be a SC girl! Hell, I even have the T-shirt!
