VoyForums Announcement: Programming and providing support for this service has been a labor of love since 1997. We are one of the few services online who values our users' privacy, and have never sold your information. We have even fought hard to defend your privacy in legal cases; however, we've done it with almost no financial support -- paying out of pocket to continue providing the service. Due to the issues imposed on us by advertisers, we also stopped hosting most ads on the forums many years ago. We hope you appreciate our efforts.

Berton

Welcome to the Lonely Canadian Writer!

You may ask and answer questions about writing here. Anyone is welcome to post, but we are primarily interested in seeing posts about topics of concern to Canadian writers. So, any question about plotting, characterization, grammar, etc. is fair game, but discussions about markets, agents, tax laws, and other country-specific questions should concentrate on the often-overlooked anguishes of the Canadian writer.

Having fun, light banter, and getting a little off topic is encouraged! Flaming and Spam will not, of course, be tolerated, and will be dealt with appropriately.

If you leave a question, please do not leave your email and expect people to send you the answer. Your question has value to others, and the least you can do is come back to the board to read the answer. Thanks.
