If you tired of business as usual at the HCSD. Look at the petition. http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/DABethCinvestigateHSCD

Pass the link on to friends.

The DA must act or give us a reason why she is not.

Its your tax dollars at waste.

...I'm no longer a Hudson taxpayer - even by proxy (as a tenant of a Hudson taxpayer).

But I do agree that the inconsistencies and irregularities cited in this report should be thoroughly investigated. Without such careful oversight, there can't be any accountability, and without accountablility, there can't be informed discussion of the issues.

The facts must be found, and the DA's office has the power to compell people to tell what they know and do a throough investigation. But do they have the political will?

This case should - along with the "credit card case" - be a defining moment for current DA Cozzolino's admininstration. If she fails to pursue this issue aggressively, and if she allows those (not just Quintin, but all those implicated, in the alphabet agencies, the HPD, the Mayor's office, etc) embroiled in the credit card misuse to "bargain" their way to a slap on the wrist, then she is clearly derelict in her duty, allowing politics to override her oath of office to serve justice and people of the County first and foremost. Come November, the choice will then be clear.
