Dave, You can find a little bit of news here:
http://www.topix.net/city/hudson-ny

I agree that R-S website is useless, the Independent is somewhat better, and this site isn't living up to it's potential, because past abuse has discouraged writers.

Anyone know other sources for Hudson news?

I just have to comment here! The RS site is absolutely horrible and a LOT of people agree. I was told it was a decision made by Watertown to only post the first paragraph (or perhaps two) of byline stories. COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN to them and it might change.

The only reason they do it is because they want paper subscriptions to go up and they figure if they don't give it away for free on the web site, it will.

I think they are wrong, simply because people like the ease of the web. I don't know if complaining to Watertown will help, but hey, show them we aren't satisfied. They're a business, customer satisfaction is a must!
