Ned,the equitable user fees to pay for special interest projects seems to have gone beyond the means of the taxpayers and consumers as advocates look to government to tap our pockets with unfunded mandates, etc.for the Politicians to tout while red ink budgets stretch out as far as the eyes can see thusly avoiding accountability and responsibilities for their actions.
The recent HCSD austerity budget that called for the Board to review their spending plans and priorities finds the City Administration seeking to come to their aid with tax payers money that was intended for other projects to take the presure off the HCSD Board who found themselves being taken to task for their oversight responsibilities.
As three ladies were looking over the areas book collections in the Evans Ale book store they were appaled at the idea of promoting the City's infamous past History to draw tourists to the area in the name of HISTORY.
By the way I see you made the other Board with a poster wanting you to get the facts in the Kinderhook DWI case:):)
Do you think S.P feels slighted that they turned to you insted of him to get the local papers to defend themselves for not reporting the events that have led up to this controversy??:):)
Have a great day as we await the candidates to present us with their platforms to solve the areas diverse problems.Tom Koulos
