Just the tip of the icerburg which has been floating around in politics for years as they pursue their special interest blame games at tax payers and consumers expance.

Tom -

Some members of FoH and others (including myself) have been calling for investigations of City finances for more than ten years. I certainly am not shocked - nor would I be shocked to learn that City money has been directed to cronies and politically connected supporters of the current administration. Would you?

We got an inconclusive examination of the Shrimp Box project that stalled because of some myteriously missing evidence - because of which investigators from HUD could "find no evidence" of wrongdoing.

The deficit spending - possibly in direct contravention of applicable laws - by the HCSD needs to be examined. I don't believe there is any direct wrongdoing there (although I could be wrong), just gross mismanagement, but it is a good idea to have the books thrown open periodically and let the people see how their money is being spent.

What ICONS are you talking about? This is the kind of incomprehensible Tomspeak that gets your leters ignored by the newspapers. I'm not aware of having any ICONS who have been "overseeing" anything. What the heck are you talking about?

And what the heck does any of this have to do with "911?"
