I have taken all the concerns listed on this site that i felt needing to be addressed to Arlene and as promised I have answers to some of the questions.

Tires: Some have stated the tires are old and dry rotted. Arlene has a paper from GoodYear stating it was cosmetic cracking. She has changed to the C400 The tires at the track are now $70 each. The reason for GoodYears and not Hoosier is this: GoodYear has placed funds into the end of season points payout. GoodYear has been working on a tire specifically for Cochran. GoodYear gives Arlene so many tires a season to be able to give some tires away for new comers 1st runs, and won heat races when heat races do run.
To date 29 drivers have gotten at least 2 free tires.

The night Swainboro was rained out someone posted that they were told they could run the Hoosiers and then were told at the track they could not. In reply- No one recalls telling them they could run Hoosiers. Arlene told me she talked to this person and did not tell them it would be allowed. Goodyear is the track tire and track sponsor and at no time while this is the case will Hoosier tires ever be allowed on the track. Arlene did offer to give them 2 tires if they bought 2 which they decided not to do and left. Upon leaving Arlene did reimburse their entry cost.

Timing Light/ Board: This is in the plans to happen BUT not on top of the list as the water truck needs replacing as well as the tractor. Money has been invested into the track such as clay, tech tools, radios, PA work, office and more. There is still alot to be done, but it will take time with the higher priorities to happen first.

Personal vehicles taking up space in the pits:
In the upcoming weeks 15 spaces by the concession stand will be marked off for personal vehicles carrying race tools supplies and 5 handicapped spaces. These will be first come first serve. Once spaces fill NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO GO INTO THE INFIELD UNLESS PULLING A TRAILER. NO EXCEPTIONS. A sign will be posted at the entry of the fence to show when the pits are closed off to personal vehicles. Once they are in be aware they will not be able to come in and out. They must stayed parked until all racing is over.

Race Recievers are being looked into for latemodel, sportsman, and supertsock at this time. Reason for this is safety of the drivers and track officials. This way every driver knows and is aware of cautions and placement. When this goes into effect they will be mandatory.

Start time: The track will make its best attempt to start practice at 6:30. Drivers need to start getting there. If the track is ready we will start without you no exceptions. Midnight is our time we want to be done and heading out.

The track being sold: The track is NOT changing hands. As of July that did not happen and Arlene has the track for the next five years. If ever she does choose to sell the notice will come from her and not stray rumors.

As for Arlene listening to the drivers/fans: Arlene will listen to anyone who wants to talk with her calmly and in the manner they would like ot be talked to in. During race time she is busy, but after or during the week she is available. Call her or stop by the track. The numbers are listed on the website.

Drivers meeting: Arlene will do her best to be at all drivers meeting in case you have questions. Sometimes she is out prepping the track or tending to track buisness other the that she will be there.

Rule changes: Basically any recent changes are simply "clarification." This is season one for Arelen and she felt some clarification was needed by some.

End of season points payout: Unlike prior times drivers in the top 10 in EVERYCLASS WILL HAVE TROPHIES AND BE PAID FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE POINTS.

Gate prices:
Reg. Race Pits: Adults $20 Kids $10 5 & under FREE
Stands: Adults $10 Kids $5 5 & under FREE

If you have any questiion I did not address here please let me know. I hope this helps resolve some issues.
