*pokes cheek* ick >.< i just got a cavity filled....my first one actually. and now my cheek is numb. oh well.
firstly, please cross your fingers for me. :0D i tried out for drill team yesterday (kinda like a dance team) and i hope i'll make it ... i was on it last year, but there's no real guarantee that i'll be on it again. :-/ .... but if i am, plan on seeing some purdy pix of me in my uniform. ;)
well, i saw ally's post down there about spirit week, so i figured i'd share our school's version of spirit week. what happens is, there's a main theme. this year, it's nursery rhymes and fairy tales. then, each class level picks a more specific category. the juniors (who get 2nd choice, after the seniors) picked beauty and the beast.
every day for the week, we have a competition. before spirit week, you sign up to work on the skit, the posters, or to participate in field day. then, during spirit week, each class level gets judged for each category. like, someone wins for the poster contest, one for the skit contest, etc.
it's a whole bunch of fun, because it's an awesome competition to beat the other class levels. last year we won!! heheh ... and our reign shall continue on!!
hehe ... now that i've bored you to death ... i'm off to try to eat something. ;)
