Subject: john frusciante Author: marco pão [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:26:48 02/26/04 Thu I loved john since his beginning with the chillis ,but only really started to notice his importance when i listened to "liandra" (10 years ago)it´s my favorite album of all time!(and all his albuns follow!!) throu the years I listened to a lot of music ,that come and go with time ,bands like dEUS,mondog jr ,evil superstars,dead man ray,etc.(great bands, by the way!),but john his the only thing that stayed with me all this time,even nowadays his music sounds to me as fresh as it was the first time !!the honesty and purity of his music,is very important,in a time where music is so fake and sterile!music stopped being the real reason of it all !now the look is more importante than the music!(like limp bizkit )for me that´s very sad!! john is the best thing that happened to music since hendrix!!!! his new album is one more pilar to join the legacy of his music that will stay with us for many,many generations to come!
