Oooo. What's interesting is the fact that he is tormented by any ghost or memory of his father. Why, then, is he so angry during the poisoning scene? He seems to be angry that his mother was not faithful to his father. I wonder what he finds disturbing about this. Perhaps the fact that his mother is incapable of fidelity, yet he must be loyal to the memory of his father. THAT would be awful! To have to commit to the memory of someone whom you want out of the picture, while needing to be with someone who is not doing her own duty to commit her husband to memory. Why does he not want to kill Claudius? He wants his mom to do it herself. That would show her fidelity. At the same time, he doesn't want to kill someone for his dad, who he hates, his mom needs to kill Claudius.
