I will see your essay prompt and raise you...another essay prompt:

As a classic novel, Don Quixote features several prominent themes to be considered. Don Quixote’s shift between the conscious and the unconscious, the influence of fiction on reality, and the contrast between Don Quixote’s idealism and Sancho’s realism all factor into the story’s key purpose. Despite this multitude of broad subjects, the topic of you analysis will focus on the final scene of Part I. In Book LII work to concentrate on Sancho Panza as we see his distinct change from realist to idealist. Look closely at lines 7 (471) to 3 (472) and lines 5 (473) to 9 (474). Discuss the relation of this scene to Sancho’s ongoing tension between loyalty and materialism. Especially comment and assess the way in which this character is either permanently or temporarily altered through this passage. Lastly, include mention of how the chivalric model of knight-errantry embodied by Don Quixote, and the qualities entailed therein, are reflected in how Sancho responds to his wife.
