Affection has an interesting effect on the human (or post-human) psyche, doesn't it? It would seem that, though she may or may not know the details of Hamlet's passing, Gertrude would earn at least as much of the Ghost's wrath as Claudius, if not more. All things considered, they both betrayed him, but she chose to be his wife and then betrayed him. We don't know if Claudius ever showed previous ambition for the crown or if he was ever on good terms with Hamlet (the elder). In any case, Hamlet (the ghost) obviously still had compassion for Gertrude despite her indecency. It could be that he simply has no trust in her.

In the well put words of Hamlet (the alive one):
"Frailty, thy name is woman"
