I just purchased a male Shinese mix, about 10 months old. He was rescued from the streets. He had been wondering w/ no food or bath. His temperment is wonderful, he is well behaved and house
broken. He even sleeps all night in his kennel.
Yesterday I noticed a fatty deposit under his chin area near his throat. I thought that maybe this was where he was once a little healthier (fat). I took him to the vet to get neutered and the technician told me that, the fatty deposit would need to be drained periodically, but it certainly was not a health issue to the dog.
Can you tell me if this is common in that breed or if there is any info you can give regarding this issue. Thanks
