1. Running to daylight

Running to daylight
on 100 yard fields
full of glory, full of danger
where you pour your heart and soul out in search
of victory. You give your blood and your sweat
in pursuit of quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends,
and recievers.
On the other end of the spectrum
as you carry the pigskin you try to elude the big
mean defensive linemen, the ever dangerous linebackers,
try to outrun the speedy corners and avoid the head
hunting safeties. On your way to the endzone and
hopefully victory.
On fields all across the world it is known as the
one hundred yard war.
This battle between two adversaries lasts for sixty
minutes, sometimes more. This is what the game of
Football is all about.

He longs for her embrace

feeling passions enchantment
On a quest to find the woman
who seduces me in my dreams
and leaves me wanting more
Her face is a mystery
Her sensuality is not
Her beauty is intense

as I search the Stars
The moon, The very Heavens
for her.
Drawn to her when the moon is full
Her Exotic beauty fills my
heart and my soul
She is my passion
My desire
My fantasy lover
intoxicated by her kiss
Mesmerized by her touch
My heart and soul aches
for her each and every night
