Suasana di sana agak sibuk pada hari sebegini. Hari kerja. Dari tadi Mimi tidak bersuara langsung walaupun menjamah makanan yang dijual. Tiba-tiba, Mimi pun bersuara,”Manalah kawan kita tu? Janjinya tak pernah ditepati!" “Sabarlah,Mimi.Lagipun baru setengah jam berlalu.”kataku untuk menenangkannya. Mimi membalas,”Itulah awak,Lisa!Terlalu beri muka kepada May tu!Tengoklah apa yang jadi sekarang!Dia sudah pijak kepala kita!”sergah Mimi.Aku terkejut. Sebelum ini dia tak pernah marahkan aku dan May.Mungkin ada apa-apa yg berlaku di antara mereka. 15-minit selepas itu May pun sampai. Aku pun segera bertanya kepada May mengapa dia datang lambat. May menjawab “ korang tak nampak ke yang aku ni siput babi?! Sebab itulah aku datang lambat!
