I suggest you pray the Psalms, in Psalm 90, Moses reflects on God's eternity and transience of the human being. God gives us life and it tests us, the test before the reality, we must go to seek guidance and help of Christ and the Holy Mother of God in mid the difficulties, a child is a precious gift for a father, but the life, is the great gift of God for every being, I suggest go to dialogue with a priest of Christ and speaks with Jesus Christ self, in the Holy Sacrament before difficulties. I do it to daily.
