Un laico puede hacer una bendición invocatoria sobre un objeto de piedad, pero no más, no hay manera que un laico pueda crear un sacramental de un objeto.

Lo del contacto del objeto con el agua bendita no tiene sentido, es un descabello, no tiene sustento. Piénsese por ejemplo en que cuando dentro de la iglesia, la que sea, pasa el sacerdote haciéndo la aspersión, el agua bendita cae sobre otros objetos diferentes a los fieles, no por ello se va a decir que la banca de la iglesia por entrar en contacto con el agua queda bendita, o la ropa, o el bolso de las damas, o los anteojos de alguien, o un bastón, o una silla de ruedas, etc... Sencillamente no tiene sentido.
