In reply to: Chihiro 's message, "Chihiro loves...." on Fri, Nov 11 2005, 2:09:22

it was sad and bassless without ali, but acoustically i thought it was exciting and enjoyable as did most of the crowd from the sound we combined to produce. Holly on the flute was a joy and generally a good all round performance from the rest of the band.

Much enjoyed, delboy xxx

I just wrote a really long message and pressed the clear button (i didnt even realise it existed until now) I thought i would share my greif before retyping the words.
Thanks lewis, i really appreciated you coming, its a long way to come. Mind you, bones and sarah did fly from blackpool so thats very nice too.
the gig was wonderful, it was excellant to play our new songs from cleandirtyverse. it was sad and different without auff, but it sounded good acweestically. I think thats probably because for probably the first time, we got the sound just right. it was probably made easier playing with the acoustics.
thanks to the wonderful chihiro for headlining, it was a pleasure to hear all the songs i already knew (you really have a gift for writing sing-along songs) and the new songs were a treat, the chorus in sometimes the words wont come are stunningly beautiful. loving the cd.
