andrew from octosound and the band agency has kindly written us a review for trying to disappear.

High Vinyl are an amazing four piece who really under sell themselves sometimes! Their witty and observational lyrics in their tracks "Gravity", "Watching Re-runs" and "Thick As Skin" (the three tracks on the cd) sung by Stephen Kelso in the main, with Ally Hotchkiss occasionally taking the vocal reigns, are expertly written. Musically the band are slick, their songs find a natural flow that makes each one a pleasure to listen to in a kind of "i know this song, but i've never heard it before" way. Pavement stand out as one of their contemporaries and influences. An absolute pleasure.

we have some dates booked in august for recording another cd in norwich, which by the way is a fine city. im sure some fine music will result. you never can tell.
