Author: Kelso [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: Wed, Feb 25 2004, 19:43:38 yeah on another review website pig lib was highly rated and self titled one was not so... your judgement is bound to be far wiser...what ive heard of pig lib is splendid... if you like stephen malkmus lots, you should buy the pavement albums too, best stuff ive of his ive heard is with them...i love crooked rain, crooked rain, such a classic album...my special edition slanted and enchanted is on its way supposedly, if splashdvd ever get round to sending it... thats probably the best special edition ever, most such things i dont like, they can disrupt the flow of the album, but this one gives you so much, theres more than 30 extra tracks, a whole gig in there, some peel sessions and some of the early material before the album... very generous

Author: Kelso [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: Fri, Feb 27 2004, 14:55:54 fopp had a lovely time when all pavements albums were 7 quid, but at that time i had no money, now theyre a bit more... on splashdvd.com theyre at decent prices, but mine hasnt arrived yet, if you're going to order more than one item from them i recommend you do them seperately, i reckon thats why mine had taken so long, i ordered mountain goats new album with it, and if they havent got hold of one of them then they might wait before dispatching the other... im off to sheffield now, work is over, hope you have a lovely weekend too
