I've had dealings with Jangar in the past. Luckily I didn't have to pay for any of my repro's from him because I did some work for him website related. From what I've read as responses from him to several of you guys, I can say honestly that I've noticed several blatant lies on his part. He was never married, however he did have a girlfriend that lived with him. The children he claims he's losing in a divorce which is fake, is really 1 girl and is his girlfriend's from a previous relationship. The house he claims he is losing as well is in his name, not her's. A few have gotten replies saying his religion prevents him from refunding money, which is a lousy excuse considering he admitted to me and my wife that he was athiest and didnt believe in any one religion or any group of religions. When he receives payment from someone, it's either spent on more materials for his 'workshop' in the basement of his home or blown on transformers for his collection which is the main reason he can't refund the money to people. It usually takes him no less then a day to do a full blown reproduction order of 5 pieces. His quality of repro's are horrid. They have air bubbles throughout the entire piece and break easily. He works by himself, out of his basement with insufficient materials and equipment to produce half the orders he takes in. I'm pretty sure I have his mailing address somewhere if you were serious about contacting the authorities locally. He lives in Spring, Tx right outside of Houston which is close to where I live. The only reason he produced the repro's I ordered from him so fast was because he lived so close to me and it didn't involve any kind of shipping. Hopefully something can be done about him because he's been ripping people off for a long time. If I can help in any way, please let me know. I'm going to keep a constant check on this board to see how the progress is going on the situation.
