It's going to take a lot of talking by Gerry Adams to convine the people of Lurgan they should accept the RUC-PSNI as honest brokers and an unbiased police service.
You can change the name, but you can't change the mindset - not in a hundred years.
Accepting the RUC-PSNI as a legitimate and acceptable force is only one step away from accepting that the stationing of British troops is also acceptable and legitimate in the six counties. It isn't! It never was, and never will be!
