Subject: 1916 Commemoration in London!

The Irish Political Status Committee held it's annual Easter Commemoration in London's Hendon Cemetery on Easter Monday morning.
The 1916 Proclamation of Independence was read by veteran republican Terry Gavin-McWeeney, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony in memory of all who fell during Easter Week, and in the decades since then.
Solidarity messages from POW Noel Maguire in HMP Full Sutton, Aiden and Robert Hulme in E-3 Portlaoise, and a message of solidarity from the Sean Oglaigh na h-Eireann Organisation in USA was read by Lucy Kelly.

The solidarity greeting sent on behalf of the republican POW's on E-2 Wing was read by Michael Holden.

The IPSC wish to thank all those who turned up on the day to mark the 91st anniversary of the Rising in 1916, especially those who travelled a distance from outside London to be present.
