Subject: Wearing of Easter lily's by POW's - Home Office reply!

The Home Office has replied to our letter in which we asked for an explanation as to why fifteen republican POW's have been put on charges for wearing Easter lily's in Maghaberry Prison on Easter Sunday.

Mr Derek Montague, on behalf of te Home Secretary, merely states our letter is 'receiving attention' and a reply will be forthcoming in due course.
We encourage others to contact the Home Office (in writing) and query why these prisoners are being discriminated against for wanting to honour Ireland's dead. The more who write the more impact it will have.
