Subject: AIDEN HULME CLEARED FOR REPATRIATION TO PORTLAOISE!

The campaign to have Irish political prisoner Aiden Hulme repatriated to Ireland continues to pay dividends.
An Irish embassy official in London confirmed to IPSC yesterday that Aiden's paperwork has been processed and is already at the Home Office. We understand Aiden will now be written to by the Home Secretary confirming he is listed for repatriation to an Irish prison.

This development means that only one Irish political prisoner now remains to be given clearance - Noel Maguire - who like Aiden is serving his sentence in Full Sutton Prison with Fintan O'Farrell. Noel was initially refused the right to repatriation but protests were made on his behalf and that decision was reversed last month. No dates have been given as to when Aiden and the remaining five prisoners in UK are likely to be repatriated.
The Irish POlitical Status Committee wish to thank all those in Ireland, Britain and the USA who supported and campaigned for Aiden and the other Irish political prisoners. Your support is greatly appreciated by IPSC and the prisoners.
