To my many friends at home and abroad I extend season's greetings and good wishes.
I take this opportunity again this Christmas to thank all those good people who have sent me cards in recent weeks, and letters and messages of solidarity throughout the year.
I do regret I have not been able to reply to each and every one, but rest assured every card and letter is much appreciated by me.
As you are all aware, the campaign for my repatriation is an on-going process and I understand will be stepped up in the coming year.
My thanks in particular to comrades in the United States, England, Ireland and Dundee in Scotland for their contineous support.
I wish you and your families Nollag Mhaith and good health in 2008.
