Same problem with me, signed up with IRN in 2001. Went up to their office in Faber House today to inform them that I wish to discontinue this scheme. I was repeatedly being told that the contract is legal and binding and that I will be given reminders if I do not pay up. From the tone of the manager's voice, he seems to be suggest that his company will sue if I ignore his reminders. Set another appt with them on 16Nov03 to iron things out, any suggestions of what I can do meanwhile???
Would really appreciate all the help I can get.

Hi Stephen,

2001 is some long ago. Have you tried their services ?
Have you written to hcspore03@yahoo.com.sg yet ? Its easier to correspond on email. Do write to us there as then we can route to the people who has "been with" IRN before.

Hi Shirlynn, I'm in the same situation.
Would really want to hear how you people deal with this.
Seems that it does not help talking to the IRN company at all.
Would writing collaborated request letter to the company be of any use? Can we use the letter for any legal action later?

Hi Shirlynn

If you want to ask Case to help, you need to register as a Case member and pay a small sum for them to handle your case. Pls see http://www.geocities.com/hcspore03/advice_modes.htm
Pls inform them that it is not a timeshare issue but rather a holiday club issue as Case has clearly stated in their website that they do not handle timeshare issues.

If you guys are thinking of getting together, we do have a group of people with IRN as well. Pls keep us informed as I am sure they will be interested as well.

If this is the case, do you think we can arrange a meeting to discuss what we can do??

Hello everyone,

I've recently paid up in full to IRN before stumbling across this website. How do I get my money back although I have already paid up in full. Could we discuss?

Thanks

my advice is dun pay up at all. They always use the same tactics.. tt their documents is legal binding.. same when I wanted to end my contract with Emperor in 2001.. i got worried and ended up paying the full sum ($18K).. i really regret now cos it seems like there's no way i can get rid of this timeshare.

i wonder if there's any lawyer here tt can tell us if the so call contract is really legal and tt if we dun pay up, we'll get sued.
