] Date Posted: Wed, Sep 29 2004, 10:20:51 Hi all, never realise about the timeshare scheme, around early this year, me and my gf walked around at Orchard, approached by this young innocent looking boy doing the survey. As we like to help people ;p heuhehehe, we stop and asnwering him. Well, sort of scratched the rpize and we got the $50 voucher at goodwood park hotel resto. Then went in to Faber House to collect it, attended the presentation,and did the longggggg questions and persuasive arguments. Almost bought it, but then when i checked all the listed hotel they offer, none of them in the city area, all are remote and suburbian. Been living in some other countries for some times,gave me a good understanding about some places and the hotels. Realised that this was not a good offer, i rejected them, plainly showing that those areas were remote ones and none of our interests. gf and me typical city loving person, not the see scenic or sightseeing type. my money management motto: buy what you need, not what you want. this saved me! They saw us as un-repentant customers, they gave up and gave us the S$50 voucher, even sent to the lift and saying thank you for your time. Heuhehuee.. hmm actually one of the best service I've ever received in Singapore =) Went straight to enjoy the sushi and soba. slurp!! one of the best meal i had. People said Goodwood has one of the best japanese meal?! Of coz, spent more than S$50, but hey, good meal is a meal... hehehe Seems like they only like to cheat couple or overseas couple. Gf and me looks like foreigners. I guess they think it's too hard to cheat singaporean. Singaporean too smart mah... heueheue... Looking back now, good thing i dont spend any single cent for it. Actually i'd like to do the interview again, if can scratch more prizes. too bad my gf now in overseas for some assignments. maybe i need to borrow some gals and dress up like a silly rich foreigner. maybe i can get more than S$50??? heuehuehe...
