I recently went to a company in orchard road, trying to sell my timeshare away. when i went there, thy tld me that my current time share cannot be sold for the price i paid, and in fact, i can only get back at most 15% of the price. even that, would take a very long time. like 6 yrs?

is that true?

I was then offered another scheme. to take up their travel club programme, which means paying up more money (S$21,000),
and they will trade in my timeshare. best of all, they will also enrol me in this cashback reward programme, which guarantees me a sum equivalent to the total amount i've spent on my timeshare and the new travel club. i am assured that i will receive this sum of money back in 5 years, and that several big organisations like Courts, ABN Amro, DBS Bank and the Manhattan card is also currently using this new system of 'cash back reward".
my question is, is this safe??? will i get back my money??
if not, what is an alternative for me?

thank you
Fish

Don't trust them, are you talking about LGM? They offered me cash back programme too, but i declined because it's another trap. Please do a search regarding timeshare cash back programme in this forum and other timeshare link, it was another scam, forget about selling our timeshare, it's worthless shit of certificate. My cert caused me 18k too, treat this as a serious mistake and don't think about reselling the timeshare as those out there which claim are reseller in singapore, 99.999% are scam. Take care and please don't let them conned us so easily again.
