In 1996 my ex-wife and I were con'ed into buying a timeshare. In our divorce the ex saddled me into taking the thing. I have it paid off, never used it and want to get rid of it. I've paid reality companies over $700.00 to try and get rid of it. Isn't there some place that is willing to sell these things without asking for money up front to sell it? If these things are so good then why is it so hard to get rid of them?

Pro-Biz Network Consultant is a scam in my opinion.

Some guy from that company just called me. He sounded monotonous, like already used to all these cold calling. And I find it funny that how come these timeshare resale companies can get my information. So I question him about it. He claims that as long as you have bought timeshares, all these personal information will be stored in a timeshare database, which people can purchase to get these information.

Ask him who owns the database, he says don't know. Then when I said not interested, he said no problem and slams the phone. Luckily I anticipated this move, and push the handset away :)

But it was fun, making the guy exasperated :P
