Please keep me inform on any updates. Like ccn666, they also hold the timeshare ownership for Calypso Plaza. Few months ago, LGM tried to get them to convert to CVC which they refused to and actually informed LGM of their interest to sell back the timeshare. The last I heard, a few days ago, was that LGM wanted to discuss to buy back the timeshare from them. But we are rather suspicious of their sudden changed of attitude, maybe like what the forum has discussed they will offer to sell their timeshare but at a fee, and there is also a fear that the cheque LGM issued could be bounced. I was present at their last meeting and was really "pissed" off by their attitude and their sale technique. At the same time, it is really frustrating that nothing could be done against them. The best is not to talk to them, even over the phone, in short, cut the communication with them. They will not buy back the unit they sold to you. They had told me this, "Why should we buy back the timeshare when we can collect yearly maintenance from our members?" In fact, the market for timeshare is flooded, many people want to sell but there is no taker. So, don't apporach those timeshare resale companies as well, as they are another group of blood suckers to cheat people. If your girlfriend and her dad attend to LGM by accident, LGM would probably offer you cash back programme which is a new scheme of cheat to con people in. This is commonly used by quite a number of timeshare companies in Europe. You can visit http://www.timeshare.org.uk/ for more info.
