Just remind me of one of my former colleague. He too signed up and pay something like 20K+ for his plan and then found to his dismay using his 1st week in Australia. Found it some what run down, remote and far away from convenience, unlike what was told to him. He went back to the company and asked for cancellation (obivously you know the answer). He then went to CASE to settle the this. Same old thing from CASE, nothing could be done after CASE send a letter to the company. He then decided enough is enough and stop paying anything from then. To date, he had paid nothing. I don't actually know the details, but was related to me by anohter colleague sitting beside him.

Anyway, this colleague of mine had since migrated to Australia without even informing the company. Simply cut off from them. Wonder how are they going to trace him?

I'm glad that you benefit from this forum, I just had to say that me and Mariner pay a heavy price to learn this lesson. That John Tan (the timeshare resale company MD) is a crook, he had cheated a lot of people. He is a bit fat and wear glasses, should be around 1.7 m tall, just in case you may encounter him in the future. It's a pity I do not take a picture of him that I will publish in this forum to warn everybody. Now he is under investigation CID which is a good news to all of the victims, and hopefully, he got his punishment ultimately.
