Probably closed down after being exposed. This is how most timeshare companies operate. But don't be surprised they will come back with almost the same management but a different company name.

I heard WRI was closed down and appointed a company called "Global Europ" to handle all the outstanding case. It seems a good chance for "Global Europ" to start a new round of scam. Be careful.

Hi,

Anyone out there know how to claim back the money that previously pay to timesharing company that had been closed down. Can I claim the money back from the whatever so called resale timesharing companies that I will not have to pay any amount of fee inorder to reclaim the money back from the previous timesharing company. These so called resale timesharing companies should pay the customers back the money that the customers previously brought from the timesharing companies and then sold off these timesharing to others. But how a hack, these resale timesharing companies also out there to cheat people money. There should be a law to pin down these resale timesharing companies. I have recently received calls from this company name called Great Concept and letters from them not only once. I think they are also one kind of timesharing companies which change their appearance but never change their aim of cheating people money.

Hi There, pls do not believe there is any timeshare resale company in Singapore can really sell your timeshares. Forget it... those so-called resale companies are very likely operated by a group of blood suckers. There may be a syndicate up there setting up all these companies with different names and business styles but utimately they are from the same group of people (under the same company shareholders - can be also different runners from this syndicate) BEWARE - GIC - Global Interval Cosultancy - hiding behind as business management company and claimed with potential buyers from China & indonesia corporations to buy your timeshares with a premium price, is the same as the company - RIC - Realty Consortium International - uses realty property/apprisal/valuation to hide their scam biz... all from the same group of members - if you care to check the company profile. You folks should spend some time and effort to understand the background of the company before meeting up with them.... be smart next time! My advise is: DO NOT SIGN ANY AGREEMENT or CONTRACT WITHOUT GETTING YOUR LEGAL ADVISE FIRST - Always tell them to print a copy to review with your own lawyer nefore you actually sign the documents - Best Still - Do not meet up with them at all - it's just a waste of your time and ended up with more frustrations.... All the agreement contracts are drafted unfairly to their advantage if you are careful - you will note be able to get back your refund at all.

Just got an email from a victim who purchased World Resorts timeshare a couple of years ago. Last year a company named Global Europ came into the fray and claimed they had taken over the company that has wound up. Some time this year Global Europ called the victim and threatened to sue him if he failed to pay the outstanding maintenance fees. Alternatively the company could help to void the contract if the victim could pay them 9.5k as legal fees etc. The victim refused & was not bothered until recently. This time the representative of Global Europ said they wanted to return the original contract to the victim. When the victim made the appointment the same thing happened - the victim was told that he would be sued if he did not pay up. Victim was called to make a decison on the spot. When the victim refused another staff at the office wrote on a piece of paper stating that the victim was aware of his liabilities and asked him to sign the acknowledgement. The victim refused and left the office with the staff fuming. When the victim asked for official proof about Global Europ taking over World Resorts, the staff refused.
Be alert my friends of this new form of money-making strategy........

AIYO...

A contract is a binding agreement between 2 parties, if there is no third party clause (which timeshare contract normally don't have), no one can take over the agreement and sue you, which also means what Global Euro is doing is nothing but a hoax..

Think again, if WRI can transfer their rights to Global Euro without your knowledge, then you can also claim that you have transfer your membership to someone in ethopia without their approval. wahaha... ...
