A consumer signed up for a timeshare for $11, 000 and paid a deposit of $4, 000. He felt he was misled into signing and approached Case to find out more.

The consumer information notice and notice of cancellation were not given to the consumer and the three-day cooling-off period was not explained. Case asked for the timeshare to be terminated and a refund of $4, 000. The company refunded the deposit paid.
