Date Posted: Sun, Apr 16 2006, 9:48:32 Hi Patrick, you can pop by the CASE and see what they can advise you on. They also have a website that allows you to launch a complaint online. But you'll need to join CASE as a member before they'll take up your case for you. My suggestion for you is to goto CASE and check out what your options are. Thereafter you can think over what you can or want to do. At this moment, don't pay CASE to be a member yet, cos all CASE does is only write to ERI on your behalf, and they don't have the power to force ERI to refund your $$ etc. What this means is that CASE and ERI will ding-dong mails to each other while nothing gets done. You might be better off looking for some legal means to settle your problems with ERI. Or maybe threaten to go to the Police, etc (but of course you'll need to have some evidence of their misdeeds). Good luck. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: Sun, Apr 16 2006, 12:29:03 Approach CASE to help you write to ERI to void the contract. However, be prepared to forfeit what you have paid out. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: Thu, May 04 2006, 23:18:37 Hi ppl, I've just popped by CASE today and was advised by the officer as what Law had mentioned. Basically what CASE can do is only write in to ERI on your behalf, and according to them the chances of getting the termination is very slim, don't even think of getting any refund. Can anyone give any other suggestions or advice? [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: Fri, May 05 2006, 10:40:50 Cliff/Patrick The main purpose to either see CASE or lawyers is to have your contracts voided with/without refund before you are served with writ of summons which can make matters more complicated to resolve. Of course it will be more cost saving if you have CASE help you since it's the initial stage. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
