After seeing all these advices, I think it is better to cancel the appointment. One point to make is that they claim that this cash back programme is subsidised by the Timashare association. The aim is to cover the lost of timeshare owners. They also claimed that a lot of customers who have taken up this programme are very happy about it. Furthermore, the sales lady said that there wil be no upfront at all. Sounds convicing??? By the way, the sales lady who called is Michelle and there is also another lady involved called Cassandra. So watch out. KT [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: Thu, Apr 21 2005, 23:29:48 Hi KT I think there are 2 actions that we can take against LGM: 1. for those who have been approached by LGM to sign up for their cashback scheme or whatever scam, could we tape record all the lies. Then, we send those who have been invited before and had gone down b4 to demand cancellation of the scheme to "negotiate" with them. I'm sure there would be enough discrepancies between the 2 to show the questionable integrity of LGM. 2. We should organise a roster to go to the groundfloor of tower B at Ngee Ann city to tell potential prey of the scam. We may even distribute flyers there to warn them. However we need to be carefull about antagonising Ngee Ann city management. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: Tue, Apr 26 2005, 17:36:33 I think CASE should sell nice looking T-Shirts with the Fair Trading Act printed on it, in particular regarding Timeshare. With many people parading the T-shirt all over Singapore, more people would be aware and understand about timeshare. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
