My advice to people who feel they have made a mistake of joining and wish to back out : Please put your request in writing and sent it to the company by registered post. If u want to go there personally make two copies of the letter and get the staff to acknowledge by signing on your duplicate copy with date and company stamp. Don't make any verbal request as they will be denied when the time comes. Don't entertain any verbal threats from the companies. Insist that the company write to you for demand of payment or to pay maintenance fees etc. If u make any payment to them insist on a proper receipt and keep taps on what u pay. Make sure the receipts indicate clearly what the payment is for. This will facilitate your attempts at redress when the time comes. Many people make payments for upgrading of their membership and their receipts do not indicate clearly what the payment is for. To compound the problem payments are levied in foreign currency (e.g. Aussie dollars) to some obscure accounts. Be careful.
