Subject: John C. Oney

Hello to everyone,

My great, great, grandfather, John C. Oney was in the 13th Kentucky Cavalry and during research I have found him listed as a sargeant on two websites but every other source of information I have seen lists him as a private. Does anyone have records that can verify one way or the other?
