I love Israel they have been a great US ally....but the settlers have to leave for the sake of Israel's existence, Israeli's have to seperate from the Palestinians, and define their borders...if they don't, Palestinians can play the 1 nation card-- Jews and Arabs with equal rights and citizenship in a one state democracy, which of course because of demographics means the end of the Jewish state in 15 years...In 15 years if Israel still occupies the territories , will world leaders and diplomats prefer Israeli minority aparthied rule like South Africa was? or will they prefer a 1 nation state with civil rights for all ?...time is on Arafat's side., Arafat knows he has the winning hand and the Israeli's will have to give up the occupied territories very soon...with or without a peace treaty...they killed Hamas leader Yassin and have kept Arafat under practical house arrest to show that there withdrawl is not a sign of weakness.
