I am a Jew plain and simple. A Jew worships G-d and not the state of Israel. Now with that said, it is the gentleman in the article must be back in the 14th century. To think that the Arabs(palestinians is a misnomer) will simply accept peace when we withdraw show that this man has the hope of a child, as well the intellect to match. We already know that they want nothing but the destruction of Israel. They have the whole of the middle east to settle, comprising vast land reserves. This man in the article is concerned with our 80% ownership of our own land? Let this man give up 20% of his personal house, let some people in who never lived there, and give them 20% of his house because they complain that the space reserved for their guests is too small. All the while shortly after moving in, he is seemingly unaware(the bombs going off in his bedroom seem not to be convincing enough) that they are plotting to take over his whole house. Instead of supporting his fellow Jews, he whines about the premise of us wanting to own 100% of our own land. This man must examine his priorities and his Torah. "Burn evil from your midst" is what the Torah says, not allow it to flourish and spread causing death for your fellow Jew. Zionism is nothing without G-d, but G-d stands strong in the face of a lack of Zionists. G-d created us and Israel. They are linked, but Zionism is not a religion, only a love for Israel. What good is Israel without a population who worships G-d? Than it is the same as any other mindless chaotic Islamic state that exists. Since we are "people of the book," please do me a favor and read it sometime since your visions of justice seem to now come from the Koran instead of the Torah.
